Trail character

The Karaöz–Gelidonya–Adrasan stretch begins with coastal views. Beyond Olympos and Çıralı, the route divides into coastal and inland options. The inland variation passes Beycik and Tahtalı, while the coastal option heads towards Tekirova and Phaselis. The trail continues via Göynük and Hisarçandır to its current official endpoint at Geyikbayırı.

Who is it for?

For experienced walkers prepared for long ascents and descents, rocky ground and higher-altitude passages. Difficulty and logistics vary significantly between the coastal and inland alternatives.

Planning notes

  • The coastal and inland variations differ in difficulty; choose your route in advance.
  • Conditions at higher elevations can differ from the coast.
  • Check fire, maintenance and trail-marking notices before departure.
