Trail character

Commonly described as the Demre–Alakilise–Finike section, this route leaves coastal settlements for higher, more remote terrain. Long climbs, rocky ground and infrequent services make careful daily planning essential.

Who is it for?

For walkers who enjoy quieter trails and are prepared for long days and substantial changes in elevation. For a first multi-day trek, consider it only with suitable fitness and a supported plan.

Planning notes

  • Water and supply points can be less frequent than in more popular sections.
  • Check mobile coverage and exit points in advance.
  • Use an up-to-date track together with weather information and local route knowledge.
